It’s beginning to feel a lot like xmas!
Gone are the blue skies and warm weather. Today, Penny and I woke up to a cold dreary day. We decided to stay in and cuddle. I got her all cozy warm in a snowman onesie with pink fleece pants, which she looks adorable in. We’ve been playing with her toys this morning, and it’s so amazing to see the advances she’s made. She now reaches out and grabs her toys, puts them in her mouth, and will put them down then find them again.
Poor Leyna has been feeling neglected lately. While I was taking the pics of PEnny and her toys Leyna jumped on the couch and put her head in Penny’s lap, which Penny then grabbed and tried to stick her ear in her mouth. Leyna just rolled her eyes, gave Penny’s hand a lick and jumped off the couch and went to sleep on the bed. I can’t believe how well Leyna is doing with Penny Jean. She’s made remarkable progress from the first week of Penny’s life where she hid from us the whole time and now she seeks out Penny to say hi.

Ya, Grandpa Margheim doesn’t like cloudy cold 60 degree days either.
It’s been cold and rainy up here in New England and might even be icy tonight. But it is winter here. Lenya doesn’t look too happy but is just bidding her time until Penny can go outside and play frisbie in the Park! I think they’ll be good buddies.
These pics are really cute. It’s like she is posing with her friends.
I love the last picture where she’s got a hold of Leyna and the cow. It’s like she’s telling them both that they can’t escape!
