Penny went camping for the second time last weekend. This time we went up into the valley and camped by the river, at Rio Magico. We had such a good time, we’re planning another camping trip in May.

Fun times with Ilene and Greg
We had a really busy week last week, and I apologize for not updating the blog much. Our friends Ilene and Greg came in for a visit on Wed and Penny had a great time getting to know them. We’ve been hanging out, going to bbq’s, going out for dinner and this weekend we went camping in the valley with about 20 of our friends. It’s been a ton of fun seeing Greg and Ilene and we cant wait for their next visit!!

Look at me!!
Though Penny has been pseudo crawling for the past few weeks, this weekend I would say Penny finally started crawling. She’s now crawling around the house after me and to her toys. Here’s some pics from today and a video of her crawling around. Enjoy!!

We had a quiet weekend at home this weekend. We spent some time on Saturday at the park, since it was a beautiful day. Hope everyone had a nice weekend too!
Not the greatest of pictures
After a great night sleep last night Penny woke up happy and ready to go. We went off to coffee this morning with some friends, and Penny was dressed to the nines in a really cute outfit that Tia Cara and Tio Joel got her. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures while we were out and about so I took some when we got home. Of course, I took them after Penny ate and we had done so well while Penny was eating she only had some food on her bib. Of course though, when my back was turned Penny ripped off the bib and got food all over her cute outfit. Alas, Penny looks kinda messy in the pics. Normally, I only post the really good pics of Penelope, but today, I really couldn’t find any, so as I’ve been told many times, you get what you get (I think I used way too many commas in that sentence).
Special Delivery For Penny
Penny was so excited yesterday, she got a package in the mail. 3 books from Great Aunt Pat and Great Uncle Dave. She loved the books, we read them last night before bed, but she really loved playing with the tissue paper. Thank you so much! Penny is one lucky little girl!!
