Easter part 2
Penny awoke on Sunday to find that the easter bunny had come. He…
decorated her favorite window

brought her a chick

and hid some toys for her to find.

After Penny’s nap, she put on her easter dress (thanks Michaela!!!) and we headed into town. Unfortunately Penny slept through church, but we went to the Plaza to get some pictures and walked around.

When we came home, Penny found a plate of goodies that the easter bunny left.

Some pics from our garden

Penny then ended the day talking to all the grandparents. What a wonderful first Easter!!!

We had a wonderful easter weekend. On Saturday we went to our friends parcela and had a bbq and spent the afternoon in the sun relaxing with good friends.

Go Yankees!!
On Friday, Penny was lucky enough to watch her first Yankee game. We had a great time cheering them on, and happily they won.

A special thanks to Grandpa Tom for the Yankee onesie!!!

Today, Penny had her first real experience with normal food. She had a rice cake and some cheerios and really seemed to enjoy not only the taste of them, but feeding herself (and Leyna!!).

Future world champ!!
This past weekend it was cool and cloudy, so we mostly stayed in. Penny was really excited that it’s F-1 season, and even got up at 5am with her dad to watch qualifying on Saturday. Of course, she was all dressed for it in her world champ pj’s!

9 month check-up
Penny got a clean bill of health today. She weighs 18.3 lbs and is 27.6 in long. The doctor and his staff were very impressed with how happy and calm Penny is. We don’t have to go back until she’s a year. On a side note, Penny slept though the night last night, woo hoo!!!!
