Holy Guacamole!
Today, Penny helped me make lunch. We had fajitas with homemade tortillas. Originally, I had heated up some roast chicken for Penny, but she didn’t want to be left out, and wanted a fajita for herself! I thought they would be too spicy, but she loved them!

Penny loves to go on walks. She always finds something new and exciting. On this walk she found some-
flowers,
a secret passage way,
a cat,
some mail,
and daddy’s sunglasses.
Maybe next time she’ll find some buried treasure!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jack!!

Beach Day
On Thursday we were blessed with beautiful weather so we headed to the beach for the day. After playing at the beach for a couple of hours we went to lunch at the little arabic food stand next to the light house. Penny had a wonderful time playing with her parents, grandparents and Leyna at the beach! What a perfect day!
Penny’s first boat ride
Sunday was a beautiful warm day, so we headed to Coquimbo to spend the day in the sun. We walked around the wharf, explored the fish market and went on a boat ride to Sea-lion Island. We were lucky enough to also see dolphins jumping in the bay. We then had a relaxing lunch overlooking the ocean and the restaurant had a playground, so Penny was happy running around. We’ve been having a wonderful visit with the Grandparents, and Penny will miss them dearly when they leave!

On Saturday, Penny went to her friend Renato’s 6th birthday party. She had a wonderful time playing with all the kids and looked especially pretty in her party dress!
Friday Fun
On Friday, we headed out to Fray Jorge for the day. We had a great time exploring the park with Penny and then settled down for a picnic. When we got home, we went swimming then Penny had a spaghetti dinner and went right to bed, exhausted but happy! Penny is having so much fun with her grandparents!
