PJ had her 7 month check up yesterday, and she is doing great.  She weighs 17.5 lbs and is 26.2 in long.  The Dr also said we can advance her diet and add beans, cereals, pasta, all vegetables and some spices.  This morning after nursing Penny had some oatmeal with prunes that the Dr gave us, which she really seemed to enjoy.  For lunch, I made her a soup with zucchini, carrots and potato and for dessert peaches with cinnamon.  Hopefully she’ll like them!  Here are some pics from the past 2 days, I can’t believe it’s possible, but Penny is getting cuter by the day!

We only went for one night for our first trip, after completing it we’re already planning our next one which will be 2 or 3 nights. Â These are some pics from around the campsite and from the walk that Rikki, I and the babies took while the men broke down the tents and loaded up the cars.

and good thing because this is what we found under the tent-

Well, not this one, this is from the internet, we didn’t take the time to get a picture. Â You would think this would turn me off from camping, but I am definitely looking forward to our next experience.
For our first camping trip, we decided not to rough it, and went to Playa Blanca, which is a full service camping ground. Â We went with our friends Rikki, Chris and Jack, and had a wonderful time. Â Penny really seemed to enjoy her first camping trip, especially hanging out at the beach. Â Here are some pics from day 1.

Since Steve was up on the mountain observing last week, he was able to take a few days off this week. Â To celebrate on Tues, we headed into the valley for some fun. Â Before we left, dad got to feed Penny for the first time, and did really good, as did Penny. Â She’s starting to get the hang of eating, and sometimes even seems to enjoy it.

We then headed to one of our favorite restaurants Los Hornitos del Molle, for our lunch.

After lunch we brought Penny to the zoo to see the animals. Â Her favorite part of the zoo, was the new “La Serena Aquarium”, which was basically a shack with some fish tanks in it. Â Not too impressive after seeing the Atlanta Aquarium, but still fun.
