The La Serena Zoo

After living here for 4 1/2 years, Penny and I finally made it to the La Serena Zoo. We’ve been to the zoo in the valley, but never to the small zoo here in town. This morning seemed like the perfect time to go, and much to my delight when we arrived we found out it’s free! Some of the highlights included-
I’m sure you will all be seeing more pics from the zoo in the future. It may become a weekly outing!

This zoo has lots of animals and birds. Penny, which was your favorite?
Your Great, Great Uncle John would be proud of you going to look at rooster’s at the zoo. Looks like fun.
