Steve and I wanted to get Penelope a doll stroller for her birthday, but were unable to find one. Â We found one today while we were downtown and Penny loves it! Â Seeing Penny and her doll stroller brings back fond memories of the all the girls on Westland ave giving doll parades. Â I can’t wait for Penny and her friends to start having them!
Penny waiting for her surprise-
Sunday was such a beautiful day, we decided to spend the morning walking around downtown. Â We ended up in the plaza where Penny was able to run around, feed the birds and make some new friends. Â What a great day!
Like father like daughter!!-
This morning, we all sat together at the table for a waffle and fruit breakfast. Â A perfect way to start the day!
Friday was a holiday here, Virgen del Carmen day, so Steve had the day off from work. Â To celebrate we headed to the zoo with some food in tow to feed the animals. Â Penny had a blast feeding the ducks and rabbits and the big tortoise! Â She even got to chase around a litle lamb. Â We then followed the beat of some drums across the street and found a big Virgen statue that must have been paraded through the streets earlier. Â Though we missed that, we were lucky enough to find groups of people dressed in indigenous garb and dancing for her.
Penny’s good friend Lily gave Penny a beautiful princess outfit for her birthday. Â Penny wore it for the first time on Tuesday, when Lily came over o play. Â Penny looked adorable in it and had a great time with Lily. Â Lily is moving to the US and will be living near Jack. Â Though Penny was sad to see Lily leave, she’s happy that Jack will have Lily to play with again.
