Giddy-up!

On Saturday, we headed into the valley for some sun and horseback riding.  Penny was able to ride with me on the horse for a little bit, which she LOVED, then I headed out with some friends for a trail ride while Penny and Steve explored.  Can’t wait for Penny to get a little older so she can ride too!!!

Happy belated birthday Penny

Steve and I wanted to get Penelope a doll stroller for her birthday, but were unable to find one.  We found one today while we were downtown and Penny loves it!  Seeing Penny and her doll stroller brings back fond memories of the all the girls on Westland ave giving doll parades.  I can’t wait for Penny and her friends to start having them!

Sunday stroll

Sunday was such a beautiful day, we decided to spend the morning walking around downtown.  We ended up in the plaza where Penny was able to run around, feed the birds and make some new friends.  What a great day!

Like father like daughter!!-

Saturday morning

This morning, we all sat together at the table for a waffle and fruit breakfast.  A perfect way to start the day!

Friday Fun

Friday was a holiday here, Virgen del Carmen day, so Steve had the day off from work.  To celebrate we headed to the zoo with some food in tow to feed the animals.  Penny had a blast feeding the ducks and rabbits and the big tortoise!  She even got to chase around a litle lamb.  We then followed the beat of some drums across the street and found a big Virgen statue that must have been paraded through the streets earlier.  Though we missed that, we were lucky enough to find groups of people dressed in indigenous garb and dancing for her.
