I have officially joined the ranks of santa stalker.  I got Penny dressed in a cute outfit today and we headed off to the mall in search for the elusive christmas picture.  Penny loved walking around the mall and was so excited to see the big tree!

Penny ran around to the other side squealing all the way (I have to admit I was equally excited with thoughts of the perfect picture running through my head).  But alas, it was not to be.  Apparently Viejcito Pascuero (Santa in Chile) doesn’t come until the week before christmas.

Nor does Penny pose for a cute picture!

Luckily enough we ended up at Jumbo again, and there was Santa, just like yesterday.

Not the perfect picture, we’ll just keep trying.  Santa did remember us and was happy to have Penny sit with him again!

was December 1st, and you know what that means…yes, it’s advent calendar time and we have 2 in the house!

We’ve also started decorating the house and got the tree up with lights, now all we need to do is put the ornaments on.

Penny found a few ornaments yesterday at the store that she liked, she is very excited to play with them she hasn’t decided if she wants to put them on the tree!

Penny and I had a great day today.  We went to La Feria and Jumbo and did the weekly shopping.  Penny is so much fun to be with.  At Jumbo we were able to share some medialunas (croissants) and an orange juice.  What a great time!

Penny is definitely my daughter.  Notice how messy her room is!  Every morning she plays in her crib before getting up and throws everything out of the crib.  Some days it reminds me of Alumni Hall!!
