Maine
We went up to Maine for a few days to see Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob. We had a wonderful time together. Here are some highlights-
Resig Fun
Penny has gotten to hangout with William, Cara and Joel a bunch since we’ve been in town. Luckily William’s daycare vacation coincided with our visit so we were able to spend a lot of time together. They came down to Philly for the Sunday bbq, came up to West Hartford for a few days and we went and spent some time at their beach cottage as well!! Can’t wait for next summer to get here!
Fun at the beach with Grandpa Tom
Penny is having a great time with Grandpa Tom. On Saturday after Penny’s nap we headed down to the beach for some fun. Penny and Grandpa Tom had fun running around on the beach, watching the waves, building sand castles and playing with Leyna. We then headed over to El Grifo where Grandpa Tom and I had coffee while Penny played on the equipment. What a great afternoon!!

Saturday was a beautiful day, so Penny and I went to the beach for a walk. We had a ton of fun hanging out and Penny had a blast playing on the equipment at the beach!
Beach Day
On Thursday we were blessed with beautiful weather so we headed to the beach for the day. After playing at the beach for a couple of hours we went to lunch at the little arabic food stand next to the light house. Penny had a wonderful time playing with her parents, grandparents and Leyna at the beach! What a perfect day!
Pretty Penny
was a hit at the beach this morning. Penny especially liked the fresh pineapple and peach juices that we drank on the beach. She looked beautiful in the dress the Grams and Grandpa Tom got her in Paris. Thanks!!!
Happy Hour
Our friend Pete was back in Chile for a brief visit so a bunch of us got together down at the beach at La Tabla for happy hour. We went after Penny’s nap, which was 4 hours. We got there a little before 7 and were able to have some drinks, emapanadas and relax and watch the sun set. Penny was happy that 2 of her friends came and while we relaxed drinking on the beach, they were able to run around together.
Now that summer is here
and the sun sets late (though yesterday it wasn’t too sunny), we’re able to head down to the beach for a walk when Steve gets home from work. Penny loves to sit and watch the waves crash while Leyna runs around. For me, life can’t get much better!
Grams is here!
Much to Penny’s delight, Grams’ arrived yesterday for a 2 week visit. Penny was sad when she realized that Grandpa Tom wasn’t here too, but she can’t wait to spend 2 weeks with Grams! We spent a great day together went to the beach for lunch and piscos, ran around the beach, hung out at home, played at the park and played some more at home! It was the perfect start for Grams’ visit!
