On Tuesday during Grams’ lunch break, we took Penny to Westmoor Park, to see the animals. There were turkeys, geese, ducks, cats, goats, cows, horses, a donkey, 2 llamas and some bunnies. Penny seemed to enjoy the ducks the most, though she really liked to stand and look at everything through the fences, gates or pens. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a wonderful time. On a side note, the older and more mobile Penny gets, the harder it is for me to get a good picture, I’m never fast enough. I’ve noticed the past few posts haven’t shown how happy she almost always is. She is still always smiling and laughing, I just can;t seem to capture that on film!

On Monday afternoon, Penny, Grams and I headed to the Duffy playground. Things have definitely changed since Karin and I went to elementary school there but I am happy to say that after about 20 years or so, they still have the same swings, everything else has changed. They’ve updated and expanded. I have many fond memories of Duffy and hopefully Penny will too!
(I had a hard time getting a picture of her on the swing, this was the best)
to master using a spoon tonight. We started out with me feeding her some pudding-
but quickly thereafter Penny decided she wanted to feed herself. She looks so proud to be holding her own spoon!
Being her normal lovable self, she wanted to share some with me!
What a mess!!
(Watching the Yankee game while she ate, she was happy to point out Jeter’s homerun!)
On Saturday we headed down to visit Penny’s Great grandma, then Penny and I continued on to Cara, Joel and William’s party. We had a great time, so great in fact that I never took the camera out! Penny looked adorable as always in a cute cherry outfit and I did get a picture of her and Grams before we left.  Thanks Cara and Joel for a great party! William, I’m sorry we didn’t get to hang out, you slept the whole time! Can’t wait to see you all soon!
