Happy Valentine’s Day!
Our internet has been spotty, so we haven’t been able to update in a while. Â So, happy belated valentine’s day to all. Â Here’s what we did last weekend-
Penny played-

Went to the zoo (again)…

Made cookies-

Played poker (mommy won!)-

We had a great weekend together and can’t wait for this weekend to come!
Speed bump
Last evening Penny and I along with a few friends met to talk about putting a speed bump in near our house. Â Penny and Jona had a great time walking around with us thought they quickly got bored and decided to stand on Jona’s deck and observe the meeting (also, they were much closer to the food there). Â In the end, Â we decided on putting a speed bump in between our house and Jona’s to help slow the traffic. Â Which is a good thing, as Penny got out the other day and I found her in Jona’s driveway!

(Penny pointing to where the bump will be, best pic I could get…)

Grandma would be proud
Some of my fondest memories growing up are of my Grandma Foley. Â My grandma was the perfect hostess. Â Always nicely dressed & hair perfect with an apron on, entertaining visitors. Â We spent many hours in her kitchen, and I still miss her every day. Â Unfortunately, Penny was never able to meet her, but I’ve been able to keep some of her things to pass on to Penny when she is older. Â I found one of her aprons the other day, so I decided to put it on Penny and she loved it! Â She went running into my bedroom and found a pair of my shoes to wear with it. Â I know Grandma would have loved seeing Penny play dress up!

“Go Papa!!”
Penny and I went and cheered on Steve at his first football game on Tuesday. Â Steve’s team won, and Steve did great!
