Last night
was December 1st, and you know what that means…yes, it’s advent calendar time and we have 2 in the house!
One for Penny-
And one for Leyna!
We’ve also started decorating the house and got the tree up with lights, now all we need to do is put the ornaments on.
Penny found a few ornaments yesterday at the store that she liked, she is very excited to play with them she hasn’t decided if she wants to put them on the tree!
Happy Hour
Our friend Pete was back in Chile for a brief visit so a bunch of us got together down at the beach at La Tabla for happy hour. Â We went after Penny’s nap, which was 4 hours. Â We got there a little before 7 and were able to have some drinks, emapanadas and relax and watch the sun set. Â Penny was happy that 2 of her friends came and while we relaxed drinking on the beach, they were able to run around together.
Fun times
Penny and I had a great day today. Â We went to La Feria and Jumbo and did the weekly shopping. Â Penny is so much fun to be with. Â At Jumbo we were able to share some medialunas (croissants) and an orange juice. Â What a great time!
Penny is definitely my daughter. Â Notice how messy her room is! Â Every morning she plays in her crib before getting up and throws everything out of the crib. Â Some days it reminds me of Alumni Hall!!
Jumbo time!
Penny was so excited that Santa was at Jumbo. Â She even got to sit on his lap!
Penny’s new do
I was so excited this morning, to finally be able to do something with Penny’s hair.  I know it needs to get longer but she looks so cute with pigtails!  Here in Chile it’s called moños!
