Grandpa Tom is here!!

We are all so excited that Grandpa Tom made it here yesterday. He will be visiting us for almost 3 weeks, and Penny is so happy to get to spend so much time with Pa Tom. Grandpa Tom came at the perfect time, since Steve had to go up to the mountain yesterday for 4 days. Luckily for us, a big storm has moved in, flooding La Serena and dumping a ton of snow at the observatory. So much snow that Steve was evacuated from the mountain this morning, and got to come home! Keep looking for new posts, we will have plenty to share with you!

Looks like a ton of fun so far – even with rainy weather!
I guess I don’t feel to left out…. It’s sunny and almost 90 when I got on the bus to come home this afternoon.
But somehow I think a rainy day in La Serena is better than a sunny day at Aetna!
Have fun in those puddles. And Steve sure is lucky, he’ll be home for Father’s Day.
YEAH for snow days!!! Glad everyone is together and having fun!
