Penelope is two weeks old on Monday, and she has had a very busy second week at home. Â
First, Penelope has continued to receive many visits from our friends. It has been very nice to see everybody and, of course, they love to see our little princess.
We’ve also continued going for walks around the recinto , and have even been taking Leyna to the park to play frisbee.
Â
Penelope also had her first proper bath at home. Â I’m not sure it was her favorite moment.

Â
Penelope also had some belly time in her crazy ocean playpen thingy. Â She seems to really enjoy playing with it. Â I’m sure it has a proper name, but for now it’s crazy ocean playpen thingy.

(Who is that cutie? Â Oh, it’s ME!)

Penelope had a wonderful first weekend, mostly resting with her parents and being cute. Things have been pretty easy for us, especially given the help from our friends. Even though our families are far away, we have such a wonderful group of friends that we feel like we have a very large extended family. Everyone’s been so excited for Penelope, and we have continued to show her off to our visitors. They have also been cooking us dinner nearly everyday, so we haven’t had to cook since Penelope was born! What great friends!
