Unfortunately, I thought it would be a good idea to put Penny on a red couch for the picture, not the best idea…
This morning we went to my friend Rikki’s for Penny’s first playdate. Â Penelope got to hang out with the boys- Jack who is almost 5 months old and Jona who is 2 months old. Â She was sad though that Isadora had decided not to join us yet (Camilla’s due in 2 weeks)! Â Everyone loved her Dr Seuss shirt- thanks Tia Karin!!

Today I was taking some pics of Penelope lying on a pink blanket on the floor and Leyna was sitting by me watching.
I went and put Penelope down when we finished and came back to find-
Leyna posing for her photo session too! Â I think Leyna has been feeling a little neglected since Penelope has come home (though she was much happier when my parents were here and taking her to the park). Note the sad look in her eyes. Â Luckily for Leyna she has Steve’s parents coming soon to give her some TLC!
Unlike past visits with my parents, this visit we’ve been sticking pretty close to home. Â Friday we went up into the valley for the first time since having Penelope and spent the day in Pisco Elqui. Â We are happy to say that the juice bar is reopened, and the juice is just as good as we remembered. Â
Â
We spent the weekend visiting friends for wonderful meals, unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures, though  Penelope was a hit of course.  She basically slept the whole time.
In the almost 3 weeks since my parents have been here, we’ve noticed many changes in Penelope. Â She is now starting to focus more on objects. Â She especially likes her peacock on her carseat.
Â
She’s also starting to make more faces and have more of a personality.
Â
She’s also growing and filling out her clothes more. Â
She still loves her chupete though!!
