Grandpa Tom for my new float, I love using it in the pool! And thank you Aunt Cara for the new bathing suit, I look great in it!

Penny and I had a wonderful day today. Penny woke up to Grams working from home and got to spend the day with her. Grams watched Penny while I went for a run. When I came home, Penny was happy to see me and to share my water.

Penny then had breakfast, though the dogs got to eat most of it!

After lunch, Penny got to hang out with William! We’re so happy that William and his mom (Aunt Cara) can visit with us for a couple of days! To celebrate we all went on a walk to the center, along with Uncle Sean.

Much to Penny’s delight she got to try one of my favorite things-
(mint chocolate chip ice cream from Ben and Jerry’s) YUMMY!!!!
After our walk, we came home and took a dip in the pool. Our good friends the Palma’s were visiting and Penny ahd fun playing with them!

Before dinner Grams and Grandpa Tom took Penny on a tour of the yard, and Penny helped pick some green beans for dinner.

To end our nice day, the Tapper’s stopped over and Penny hung out with them and Grandpa Tom while we went shopping, unfortunately no pictures were taken. Luckily we’ll be here for a while, and I’m sure we’ll get another opportunity to get some. Penny is now sleeping peacefully after our great day. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
Penny and I arrived in CT on Sunday night after my godson Nathaniel’s baptism (I love how that sounds 🙂 ). We spent a wonderful week with the MacDonald’s and miss them all! Today ended up being nice and hot, so after lunch Penny took her first dip in the pool! She is definitely my daughter! She loved it!!

(Thanks Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob for the cute suit!)
To those that know the Foleys, it should be no surprise that this week has been filled with cookie making. Â Now well into our third day of baking, the plan is for at least 12 types of cookies. Â I suspect that number may go up by one or two by the time all is baked and done. Â

And here are some of the results. If you think they look good, you should see how they taste!

There is always music in the air at the Foley house, and this Christmas has been no exception. Â When holiday music isn’t being played over the stereo, the Foley’s are busy making music themselves. Â Grams has been playing the violin for 2.5 years, and Grandpa Tom has more recently picked up the viola, which has been Karin’s instrument for many, many years.
Here are some pictures of Karin and Bernadette serenading the family:

All that music puts Penelope into a great mood.

Â
Last night, Penny Jean even joined in and sang along…
