We have been having a wonderful visit with Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob. so nice, that we are planning on trying to go up to Maine for a few days at the beginning of July. Yes, I said July, we are planning on extending our visit so we can enjoy the summer. Yay!! On Saturday, we went to the carousel, park and then took Penny out for a special lunch at Rainforest Cafe. We all had a wonderful time!
Sunday was a beautiful day. We walked to church in the morning then headed to the park after to meet up with Cara and William. After lunch, Penny helped Grams and Pa Tom do some yard work, and after all her hard work, she was rewarded with a special treat, the ice cream truck. Only Penny would find an ice cream that looked just like her! She then headed into the pool and was the first to go in this season (though she didn’t venture off the steps, it was COLD!). Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob made it safely to West Hartford, we are looking forward to a wonderful visit with them!
We made it to CT on Monday, a little late (1 in the morning) but are so happy to be here. On Tuesday, Penny was ready to get to work and help Grams make dinner. It was a success!
The Tappers have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. They are more than family friends, they are part of our family. When Steve and I got married, Pat made us a beautiful quilt that we LOVE! when Penny was born, much to my surprise, she made a quilt for her with the same fabric. Teddy was just as lucky to get one too. Thanks again, the Margheim’s love their quilts!!
