Circus Fun
On Sunday, Penny and I, along with a big group of our friends went to see the circus that was in town. Penny and all her little friends loved it! It was Penny’s first time going to a circus, and definitely not the last!
Cutest swim suit ever!
Thanks again Grams and Grandpa Tom for the bathing suit!! Penny and I went swimming on Saturday, and Penny looked adorable!!! It was so nice and warm and sunny here on Saturday after the rain the night before, that Penny was able to play a little outside in the puddles before going to the pool.
Hanging out at the mall
Steve, Penny and I took an extended lunch today at the mall. We had lunch at McD’s where Penny was super excited to eat her cajita feliz, complete with a my little pony, and then play with the big kids in the play room. We then strolled around the mall and did a little shopping. What a nice lunch break!
It’s raining, it’s pouring
Thanks to Penny’s friend Jack, Penny was prepared and ready to play outside today in the rain in her cute rain jacket! Penny had a blast jumping in the puddles and blowing bubbles! Thanks again Jack!
Saturday fun
the parade we were planning on going to was cancelled again on Saturday because of the rain, so Steve,Penny and I headed out for some coffee. We ended up in the cafeteria of Jumbo which has a play area for kids. The play area is just a slide with a tall platform to climb up. We thought PEnny might be too little for it, but after watching the big kids for a minute she climbed right up to the top and then slid down the slide, no fear for her! It was a great morning, Steve and I were able to relax and drink our coffee and Penny was able to play. Can’t wait to go again!
This next picture cracks me up! I tried to get a picture of the pure joy on Penny’s face as she came down the slide, but there was some type of technical difficulty, and I got a completely different picture!

Alfajores
Penny and I went downtown to watch a folkloric dance parade today but when we got there we found out it had been canceled because of last nights rain. So we wandered around with our friends instead and went shopping at all the little stands. Our friend Rosie bought us all alfajores which Penny LOVED! She kept asking for “mas chocolate”.
Mommy’s Little Helper
is getting so big and helpful now. Not only does Penny enjoy shopping at La Feria with me, she also likes to help carry the produce! 
Today, Penny also helped make lunch-cream of broccoli soup (with fresh broc from the market) and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, yum! For dessert Penny ate 2 kiwi’s, which she loved! She shoved almost the whole first one in her mouth and as she was chewing was asking for more!
After lunch, Penny played with some of her toys and was acting goofy, as always!
